Genuinely wants you to understand. Is very forgiving and is very real-world in her application of math. Even for the humanities kids like me who can barely count, she is helpful and open to assisting. Her office hours are reliable and her help is flexible. Not finished in her semester-long class yet, but so far, she has been very understanding.

Martha may not be the clearest instructor out there. But she takes a personal interest in her students and is always available to help outside of class. She doesn't try to surprise or trick you on the test. She is my favorite professor at Whitworth because she cares.
