There is a ton of homework for this class. She is a very tough grader for an english class thats supposed to prepare you for Writing 100. DO NOT take this class it is a million times harder than Writing 100. She will mark athletes for attendance and will fail you if you do not show up to class. Many students who sat next to me failed this course.

She is a very nice lady and always there for an appointment. Encourages getting help but is a very tough grader. You get a lot of work but it's not really difficult. I am not really a fan of the class discussions. All and all she is a very nice lady and is very cooperative and for that I applaud her, but the class isn't for the non-patient.

Not a good class. She is extremely dull. I got an A on all my papers but didn't go to many classes because I felt it was a waste of time. Naturally I got a poor grade. Something isn't quite right when you don't need any help from the professor to do well but get slammed because of attendance.

She is soo nice! She will do anything to help you. She may talk alot but she is interesting. Assignments were so easy...I never got below a 94 on any of her papers.

Not a bad professor. Class is boring and long but only a few assignments that the class get to collectively choose. You hand in a draft for each assignment and then she edits it which helps boost up your grade. Still a tough grader and a stickler for punctuation/grammar/citations. Not that bad though.

This teacher is the devil. Very tough grader. If you get seriously sick and miss classes, she will dock your grade a lot. Is not willing to let you make-up "in-class" work even if in hospital. Horrible teacher.

The class wasn't hard but very boring. She gives no direction for assignments, which if you are like me the lack of structure isn't good. But you can rewrite all of your papers so that helps your grade a lot. Side note: she refuses to give out A pluses because she said no one can achieve that kind of perfection.

Not the worst professor ever, but definitely not the best. She rambles on so much you feel like your are being held hostage in her room ! There are only 5 papers and she's a very tough grader... so do your best job. Not a horrible class.... but don't expect anything more than average.
