Show up to class as often as you can and don't procrastinate towards the end, a lot of stuff is due right at the end of the semester. I had 15-20 pages to write in the last week, alongside all my other finals; I cut it really close. Class is really quiet and awkward. She was fairly nice when I approached her after class. She's a VERY tough grader.

Very bad about returning work. No feedback for even short writing assignments, making much of the writing pointless since I didn't know how to improve. Most of class time was discussion of readings led entirely by students. Grading is VERY tough, and limited feedback is disappointing. Interesting course, but not worth it for the grade you will get.

Excellent teacher overall, my favorite class as a freshman. I speak for all when I say everyone felt open to speak their minds in that class. Good Times. The only bad thing about her was in the end...we spent the ENTIRE quarter writing a paper, and I wanted to see the final result. I tried contacting her 3 different times to see it and was ignored
