Comment:

Greenberg is really into what hes teaching but its impossible to sit thru his lecture. Hes monotone, rarely uses overheads, ppts, or visuals, and gives very tricky/hard tests. In depth note taking is a must which means attendance is a must to even pass the class. His exams have questions where you have to apply things he didnt really go over.

So nice, real approachable and easy to talk to. He is really into what he's teaching and uses good examples. We got to go visit the jail and that was fun. As long as you take notes and study them the tests really are not difficult

This class was very interesting! The lectures can be hard to sit through as Greenberg is a bit monotone but he is still an amusing guy. The tests are pretty tricky and taking excellent notes is mandatory as 50% of each test is taken from the lectures so if you miss something it can really hurt you, especially since there are only 3 exams.

Greenberg (and SocialPSY) is a mixed bag. Exams are of average difficulty, but always contain a few Q's that Greenberg seems to pull out of thin air. The lecture is difficult to sit through (even for a planned PSY major), but entirely mandatory as Greenberg doesn't post notes and rarely uses any visuals, making note-taking difficult and in depth.

I loved this class. If you are interested in the criminal justice system and you need a pretty easy elective I would suggest taking this class. There are no quizzes, reciation, participation points, just 3 exams based off of 4 chapters with 45 multiple choice questions. He is kind of boring, and you have to be able to write fast though.

Holy moly was this professor boring. I had him for a night class of 6-8:30, and he make you sit there for the whole time ( all my other professors dont do that). Yes he gives many examples but his voice makes you want to fall asleep. And if you cant afford the book, youre really screwed because he didnt put one on reserve(publisher=his friend, mhm)

Greenberg is good at explaining the concepts in LSP. However, his tests are ridiculous and not based on the concepts. They're more about specific percentages and names of researchers than the concepts he presents. His curve is just okay. It was my only B, and I'm an engineer... Take it only if you want to memorize percentages and stuff

OMG I LOVED THIS CLASS! He's a funny guy and so adorable! He is definitely the best lecturer I've had so far. Explains concepts thoroughly with concrete examples. Exams were all multiple choice, but they weren't too difficult. You can get an A if you study the material well. Take this class!!

only take his class if you're really good at taking multiple choice tests. you need a photographic memory, and be able to remember everything he says in lecture. he explains concepts really well (beats them to death in fact), but he doesn't really test on them.

The class was awful. He basically read straight from the text (which he wrote) and didn't answer any questions during review sessions. (i.e. "What do we need to know about the history aspect?" "yeah, you need to know that.") Avoid this professor.

Not a very good teacher. If you are democratic and hate the death penalty, you'll love this guy... If you aren't, you'll hate how he pushes what he thinks upon you at every chance he gets. Tests are application stuff when you don't do that in class at all.

He seems like a very nice person. But I didn't think he was a very effective professor at all. Bored me to death. Although I don't doubt his knowledge of material, he was just everywhere and nowhere with his lecturing.

Very easy exams if you study. An A should not be hard. His test material comes strait from his mouth an the text. EXTREMELY knowledgable and uses terrific example. TA Jaime McMinn is now Dr. McMinn teaching at Westminste College. Terrific teacher.
