Hebel definitely knows his stuff. He'll give detailed lectures and provides demonstrations for the material being learned. He lacks is the ability to communicate assignment deadlines and criteria clearly. Furthermore, if you do not ask a "smart enough" question, be prepared for a condescending answer. If he makes a mistake, he wont admit it either

Awesome teacher if you pay attention and participate. He is very intelligent and can answer most of your questions to the T. Pro. Habel is very understanding if you have something come up and will offer extra credit if you need a grade boost.

the teacher doesn't seem to understand real world use of his teachings. The books is overly pricey and unable to avoid buying even thought the previous edition is nearly identical and significantly cheaper. I will avoid future classes of his.

Sharp as a tack... Sure the classes were difficult but he made you appreciate the technology. If you studied and tried hard there was no reason you couldnt get an A. He didn't ask any more of his students than todays industry expects.
