Go to the tutorials. Especially if Rania is still the one doing them. Do the assignments you get. Make sure you show up to the lectures, as he might give material on the final that isn't covered in the tutorials. But do go to the tutorials for some easy pointers on the quizzes, which will make up half of your grade. Summer's easier. Good luck.

Prof. Levine is a funny man, he seems to love what he is doing. Lectures tend to be long as he reads slides all the time. Couple assignments (kinda hard but easily graded). One long project with presentationS + paper to write easily graded too as long as you do it properly. If you don't attend, he WILL notice and make you know at one point.

Not that hard to do well on the quizzes, but you better just read the textbook and do practice problems. Final was killer. He often makes mistakes when teaching that can lead to you getting concepts wrong. I had a question about a quiz solution once and he couldn't even solve the quiz himself. I ended up having to figure it out on my own. AVOID.

Okay teacher, it is stupid that there is grade for attendance when attending class doesn't give you anything. He spends wayyyyy too much time on clickers.... he needs to learn how to use a computer as well.

The worst professor I have had at McGill. He merely points a laser at slides during class and shows the material rather than teaching it. Asking questions, regardless of topic, after class will only result in "use KVL and KCL." Going to class has no benefit other than an attendance grade, avoid this professor at all costs.

I don't usually have problems with profs, but Levine is extremely rude to his students. He refuses to answer questions. I asked him a simple question after class and he told me to look it up on wikipedia and was very rude about it. Another example, I missed a quiz because I was in the hospital and he refused to look at my doctors note and failed me

I cant even imagine how bad he is, he didn't explain the concept clearly in the lecture, the TA that he hired, which is even worse, I mean the marking TA,they really suck, they don't appreciate the way that you solve the question, as long as they saw the wrong result, they just gave you 0 mark.

He's not a bad professor although he's a dry speaker and stumbles a little over his words. He knows his stuff. AND he will help you if you APPROACH him. The TAs make the quizzes so it's not right to blame him. Everything that's covered in lecture is ON the quiz, just study. ATTEND TUTORIALS!! And I'm taking this during the summer and doing fine. :)

Just a horrible, mean, old man. He's mean to you when you try and ask him questions. His exams aren't that hard but he seems to try to fail as many people as possible by marking as hard as possible. I went to every lecture but I'm sure you'd better off just reading slides and the text, and going to tutorials.

Worst teacher ever. Judge by yourself if he is mean or not, he failed me by one point, another professor graded my final and made me pass after review. Lectures are useless, the book is very useful, but it is the only available resource in the course since the TA doesn't think about student's success.

his lectures are absolutely dismal. try your best on midterms since he is not involved in writing or marking them. his finals are easy on the surface but since he doesn't believe in part marks, final grades are ridiculously low. Worst professor in ECSE yet.
