He is completely unorganized. According to the syllabus, we were supposed to have three tests and one final paper. We only had 1 test and the paper has grown from 7-10 pages to 20-30 pages. He takes weeks to get anything back to you and he either puts no comments on the paper or the comments are useless.

I thought he was a great professor. His lecture was at night and yet I always managed to stay awake and engaged with what he was teaching. He has some funny stories too, although he repeats them over and over. If you take good notes and study for the few tests, you are going to do really well in the class.

Was somewhat interesting, but disorganized. I don't know anymore about Soc after taking the cass, but a couple of the books were good. Getting a good TA is key, the one I had was an awful grader.

This guy is an ****, and most people don't think he knows what he's talking about, but what he says in the lecture goes on the test. I hardly ever went to the lecture and didn't read any of the books, and I still did well in the class.

seems very knowledgeable about sociology... however, it seems like he really doesn't care about the students. also, communication with the TA's and organization were absolutely terrible...but if you keep up with the reading and come to lecture then you'll do fine

The class itself is pretty interesting when he actually shows up. He knows his subject, but he seems oblivious to the things that go on with the actual class (ie what the TAs are doing, etc). Everything is VERY disorganized. Tests are ever changing as far as number of and types of questions. I now hate Walmart b/c of this class lol

Very interesting lectures/discussions. Nice guy but kinda airheady. He likes hearing peoples opinions even if they contradict his own, but tests are based on his points of view only, and some random material you wouldn't think was important.

I don't agree with half the stuff he says, but he's always a lot of fun to listen to. Tough, but fair grading procedure. Make the few tests he actually gives, count, or you could be in trouble.

awesome professor! always had a lesson plan, even on few days he wasnt there. on those days, ta's would show interesting films and documentaries that were pertinent to class (and exams), so dont think they're wasting your time. and3words:FAST FOOD NATION!

His class was interesting, but very biased towards the liberal view. His tests were hard, but if you went to class and did the reading, it was easy to do well.

this guy is great, dont understand why you guys are hating on him. He's a little off the beaten path, but very flexible and understanding. Class on the sixties is a must take, but be ready to write a solid paper.
