His class is super boring and half of the material on his tests are from what was discussed in class so you have to go to class basically everyday to get a A+ on the test and read 3 chapteras in the book, the class wouldnt be too bad if he wasn't so boring

Im not sure how people think he is a good teacher. I always look at the prof. ratings before taking the class and this one suprised me. First C ive ever gotten in college or HS. My 7yr old brother teaches better. I stopped going to class and just read the chapters and got better grades on the tests. he is so confusing, i taught myself better.

I feel bad because he is a really really nice guy, and he's funny sometimes but the class was so boring. The tests are kind of hard, but I still managed to get a B. There is an optional paper which I recommend doing. attendance is not mandatory which is a plus, but you should def go to class as much as possible

He is such a sweet man but this class is so boring. He doesn't use a PPT so you really have to listen & take notes. Half the test is info from the book that he never covers in class. Your only grades are 4 tests that aren't easy. If there is another teacher, I would take their class.

DO NOT TAKE! RUN FAST, RUN VERY FAST! Do everything in your power to not take. He doesn't use a powerpoint presentation just him talking. Extremely boring! Only grades are 4 tests which are very hard, 50 multiple choice from the book and his lecture. 1 extra credit chance,a research paper. Go to class, because if you miss one you will be so behind.

AWESOME teacher! He's my favorite teacher I've had so far in college. Such a nice and helpful guy, I took soci1000 with him and took soci3235 with him again the year after. The test aren't hard just study and go to class. He's the BEST sociology teacher you're going to get. Easy to work with and cares about you and your grade.

This class is a total snorefest. He takes attendance, and while it isn't mandatory, if you miss too many days (who knows how many) he deducts points from your grade. The tests are pretty hard, 50 MC. Goes off topic all the time. Only one extra credit assignment.

Dr. Schultz is a nice, content and patriotic teacher(rare these days). I enjoyed taking his class though I wasn't too sure about it at first. Test are challenging, but not impossible. They come from both the book and class, so if you want an "A" simply attend, take notes and read the book. I read some, not as much as I should and still got an A.

I wouldn't recommend taking him for a freshman class. He is a good guy and pretty intelligent but his tests are VERY hard. I looked at other comments on him and saw that people said the tests were hard. I didn't listen and learned the hard way. Good teacher but his tests really are ridiculous. Seriously, listen to some of these comments.

He's got a boring, monotone voice. Gives a lot of notes which will be on the test, so you must go to class. He takes attendence, but it's not a grade. No work besides the 4 exams. There's no final and you can do an optional paper. Make sure to study your notes and definitions in the book. Pretty good teacher, overall.

This man is so boring!!His test are very hard.The questions from the textbook are easy but the questions about his notes that he "Claims" to give will make you fail the test. Do DO DO DO not take him!!! I went to every class and still got a D in his class...

Eh the class is okay. I'm sure there are better teachers in this subject. 4 Tests each worth 20,25,25 and 30% of ur final grade so they are worth more as the year progresses No attendance policy. Optional paper you can write adds 5% to final grade if written well Tests are fair. He is a very strange man but overall he's an okay teacher to take

Kind of a boring class, but going to class is so important to get the grade. Lots of reading involved. But overall, an interesting class that isn't too hard. Prof Schultz is really nice. Highly recommend it!
