Dr. Wilson is the best! If you are a history major, just interested in history, or have to take a history course to graduate, he's your guy! The tests are not the easiest, but he gives you all the information in the notes to get straight As on the test. They are fill in the blank, multiple choice, and in some classes there is a SMALL essay. EASY

I was not a big fan of Mr. Wilson. The class is lecture based and you have to take really good notes. Every Friday there is a quiz of at least 5-9 questions and you have to fully understand the question to know what the answer is. I would not take him if you have trouble with History

Took the class as an 8am so maybe that's why I barely understood his lectures. Syllabus listed 3 tests for the whole semester. The only other grades he gave were for the 5 question quizzes on the nightly reading. He thinks he's funny but he's mostly cheesy.

he makes you pay for an online textbook and then you have to do work on the pearson app. He doesnt really help with extra credit.

Comment:
The class is very note heavy, but the professor usually adds anecdotes and is able to make the notes not tedious. There were two book reports for the semester plus a research paper and presentation, however the professor was able to clearly define what he expected from each assignment. Just make sure to study for the tests, and you will do fine.

His class is very straightforward. All you do is take notes for the whole class time. He doesn't give out any homework assignments. You just have to study because his tests are pretty tough if you don't.

Professor Wilson himself is very intelligent and knows his stuff, and has a good personality one on one. The whole class period is taking notes from the powerpoints he lectures off of. Very hard to stay awake! I would not recommend this professor to students who are not History majors or pretty decent at history itself. Tests are hard as well.

Get to know him fast, because he is the graduate coordinator for the History program. In addition, take advantage of his paper meetings; they will help you with your writing skills. He's a nice person who wants his students to succeed. I would recommend him highly as a professor to everyone.

If you show up to class and write down notes its impossible not to pass. There is an easy 4 question quiz every friday based the reading assigned thursday night which he pretty much gives you the answers to before he hands it out.

Dr. Wilson is the graduate coordinator for the history department. He is extremely helpful, though he requires a significant amount of work to do well in his class. Still, if you follow the syllabus, and put in the work, you'll be fine.

Really nice guy. Easy to talk to and knows his history. Takes attendance. Had us buy 3 books. This class is more intense than his 100 level. Book report, research paper, chapter summaries every week and 3 tests. lots of notes too. If you show up and pay attention you'll be fine

the cutest man ever. super nice and can email him or talk to him about anything. definitely take in depth notes and try not to miss class at all. tests arent bad if you study the notes. 5 question quizzes every friday but they dont do anything for your grade so you dont need to read the spirit book. overall great guy and easy, interesting class

Extremely nice and helpful. Always talks to students and brings them into the conersation. Always has bits of interesting informtion. Tells you pretty much everything you need to know for the exams. As long as you go to class and read the chapter you will be fine.

He teaches well and adds interesting information to make the content understandable. HOWEVER, he has a horrible personality, thinks he has a PhD in English, and only believes that something is correct if it is in his words verbatim. He could care less about his students; always asks for opinions, but always dismisses them with his own nonsense.

Great professor and tests are not that hard. you have to read 3 books and do book reviews on them and then one report/presentation on any PA topic you like. also, there is a reading and page summary due each week.
