Comment:

Prof. Jones is a very talented professor. He has a good way of breaking down complex material in class. However, his class discussion are one-sided (slanting to the left). But this is not too unusual b/c most law school classes have the same bias. He got furious one day when multiple people that he called on failed to do the reading.

Comment:

Very enthusiastic about the topic, but completely bias about arguments (pro-liberal). Exam had little to do with anything. Just know the genera facts of cases, and the black letter law. There are some of his own "quotes" from class, so it pays to listen.

Comment:

Class is helpful in exploring criminal law. As a current prosecutor his challenge of the police in class was very helpful down the road. He cancelled class a lot in the late 90's. Politician at heart - ran for the legislature.

I will never take a class from him again. He's fun and exciting, but it doesn't do any good during exams. He hates the police, loves "The Wires" - but forgets to teach. I love CrimPro - thought I knew it, but it was my lowest grade of the semester. Also, he told me what a good student I was - yet I ended up with a C.

I think Prof Jones is only OK. He is not as weird as everyone says, but definatley does strange things at times. His exam was mostly true/false, which i though stunk for the subject matter. It also had typos that were critical facts. Maybe i missed the point, but still did OK. At least the material is interesting.

He once excused himself in the middle of a lecture and said he'd be right back. Ten minutes later he came back and asked us all why we were still there. He also liked to talk to the ceiling a lot, and called people by the wrong names.
