Dr. Astone is a good professor. This was the 2nd course I've had with her. She's very helpful if you ask questions. IS 2244 and IS 3300 are not difficult courses, so if you're unable to make an A or B, it's your own fault.

I had Dr. Astone for Intro to Information Systems and Computer Programming I. She does a good job explaining the material, and is always willing to answer questions after class or during her office hours. Pay attention, take good notes, and do your labs, and you will can do well. Miss class and your grade will suffer. Especially in programming.

Very good teacher, she is very helpful. Loves to teach, alawys willing to answer questions even in the middle of teaching. This is the way teachers should be. Class is mandatory, but not because she makes you, its just subject matter, kinda like math, one thing builds on top of the other.

She's not a bad teacher. All she did was stay at the podium all semester and talk. She does tend to ramble about her family a good bit though. My only problem with the class and her is her tests. She'll tell you it's all definitions, then it's NOT strictly a terms test. She's misleading on what you need to study. Barely scraped a C because of that.
