I loved having her but some of the essays she assigned were a drag. She really takes her time to look over your paper and gives a lot of feedback.

Excellent at teaching how to write a good paper made me a much better writer and made me more confident in the subject. Because of her writing is one of my favorite subjects. She is a very nice woman.

Lots of papers & can be a tough grader. Attendance is mandatory, if you skip certain days she takes off points. Some times if class average is low, she allows you to rewrite essays to raise grade. Doesn't use bolt and can't give you a clear answer when you ask for your current grade, grade not seen until after finals. Will give pop quiz on reading

Runs the classroom like a middle school social studies class. Received my first C on a college paper in my last 3 years at BU. Hands out "pop quizzes" every class. Reading assignments are ridiculously long and only covers 2 or 3 key points out of them. Hands out paragraph examples of "bad student thinking" and asks you to critique your peers work.

I had her for comp2. she is easy and helpful but OH SO BORING! I had couture for comp 1 during summer session and I actually enjoyed the class and learned ALOT. This class, you have to use the new yorker.. which is annoying.. but the writings are easy, just make sure to do a good balance of "They say" and "I Say". easy but awful.

Horrible professor. She is sooooooo boring. If you dont know an answer she accuses you of not reading the work. She also assings tons of work. One day we had to read 100 pages that night. Absolutely ridiculous

This class is a complete waste of time. It could definitely be an online course because all she does in class in re-read EXACTLY WORD FOR WORD what you were to read as homework. If you have her for 1 hr and 15 min expect to be there every second!! She is boring and expects you to answer as she wished and not what you think.

This lady told me I should not be enrolled in class because I was not living on campus. I was working 40hrs + a week and attending school. Not everyones Mommy and Daddy are willing to work for them. This lady had no comprehention of work. She has spent her lazy life in a book and wants you to do the same.

She assigns a lot of reading, but explains everything pretty clearly in the next class. She gives surprise quizzes. Her class is fair for the most part. She lets you re-do your papers if you didn't like your first grade, but the new grade is combined with the first one. It was an alright class... good readings.

There is a lot of reading for this class, but none of it is overwhelming. She gives a quiz about once a week, and you keep a reading journal for each class period. She's clear and makes the material interesting. You can get an A in this class if you keep up with the reading, do your journal entries and don't overthink the exams.

There is a lot of reading, but it's fairly easy. Quizzes once a week, a couple papers, not bad at all. She's very helpful and clear about what's going on in the stories and she's not a harsh grader. Do the work, show up, and you'll do well!

She's great. She is interesting but sometimes boring. There's a lot reading in this class but you can still get a good grade without doing all the reading. She normally dicusses the texts in class. If you're an English major, or write well, you should have no problem with the essay tests and response papers. She doesn't grade that harshly at all.

Overall sheĆ¢€™s a pretty neutral teacher, for our class we had to use the New Yorker (Which Sucked) and a New York Times e-mail as subjects for our papers. Was a very fair grader. She was a little boring and could have chosen better lesson plans and ways to present the material.

She takes a topic that could take at most 20 mins to go over and she stretches it out into an hour and 15 mins. She will not let you out 1 min early. If you take her at 8 in the morning, your best decision is to sleep in and come in the last15 mins&you could easily understand the whole entire class.

used the New Yorker and New York Times for almost every class, have to write a journal entry for every class and 3 or 4 papers over the semester, but as long as you do the work you'll get a good grade because she's a pretty easy grader
