Dr. Flagg is one of the nicest and caring professors at SU. She is super excited about the course material and she understands that teaching programming is like to learning a new language. She wants you to succeed and does everything she can to help students learn. As long as you show up to class and pay attention, you will do well in this course.

She is really helpful and always willing to work with you. The assignments seem overwhelming in the begining but their simplicity is quickly realized. You do not even have to attend the lab if you follow the lab manual. The exams are easy, if you study.

Seriously, this is the most helpful and interesting professor I've had so far. You don't even have to be really interested in the subject and you walk out knowing a lot more than you did before. Homework = easy, exams = easy. You barely have to go to the lab if you PAY attention to the lab book. Get her before she retires. I'd take her again.

Nice lady, "mom-ish," really helpful. seems to love her job and the subject, which makes cosc seem more interesting for those (like me) who aren't into it. use the book, do every assignment and it's an easy A.

real easy and fun to talk too. i screwed up and didnt go to class one day, i forgot to take the exam haha. anyway she let me retake it hte next day. the point is is that she does things most teachers wouldnt, very nice and very lenient. def take if you can.

EASIEST CLASS I'VE EVER TAKEN AT SU! Flagg is wonderful! She's nice and it hilarious when she cracks herself up. The woman even feels sorry when she keeps you all class! TAKE HER!
