I took this class as an online CCP class and as my first college course. Profe. Van Ness was not very clear on anything. I tried to reach out to her on multiple occasions in multiple ways and got no response. She is a very easy grader and doesn't really give much feed back on anything. If you plan on learning anything take a different class.

She's a nice lady but I wouldn't take her again due to the fact that she doesn't grade your papers until the end of the semester. The class is just 3 long papers and a group project. Just come to class and do really well on on the paper and you will be fine.

WORST TEACHER EVER!!! lazy as hell, hasnt graded any of the stuff we have turned in, midterms have already passed, she is just terrible. makes us write papers on stuff that is so dang boring, i fall asleep everytime im in her class (1hr 15 min) and she has nothing important to say til the very end. TERRIBLE TEACHER.

seriousl one of the worst teachers i've ever had. shes incredibly lazy and weird and useless. do not take this class. it might be somewhat easy but you'll hate every second of it. she pretty much makes up grades and i dont think they're fair. i absolutely deserved an A in her class and kept asking her about the grades but never responded. horrible!

Very carefree teacher but the class is so useless and boring. She takes attendance but nobody pays attention to her and just plays games on the computer. She cancels class a lot because we're "ahead of schedule" even though we don't do anything anyway.

Her class is probably one of the most boring and useless I have ever been in. The only reason that I went is because of the fact that she takes attendance. She seemed to grade really fairly though. She would always tell you what was wrong with your paper, and would let you fix it up. If you had any questions though, I'd ask someone else.

Terrible. This is the last week of school and I have yet to see a grade. She is more of a slacker than a typical college student.
