Hated this teacher with a burning passion. Never under any circumstances get behind because if you do say bye bye to all social life. No extra credit is given to up your grade. If there is any it is over a subject you spent 5 minutes on. Do not take this teacher

Very kind teacher. Chemistry is very difficult, but she tries her best to make sure you understand the material. She will stay and re-explain things that you did not understand. However, she is a very hard and detailed grader.

I love Professor Cook. Her class requires you to take notes and pay attention. This class will be at your top of your to do list, if your not familiar with chemistry. She gives long dry lectures but if you have a question with anything she will help you. IF you miss a test, YOU CAN MAKE IT UP. She gives extra credit and the labs are fun and easy.

She's knows her stuff. She is doent know how to explain it well. Lectures are very dry and long. She give out test notes and study packets forbyoubto complete but here's the kicker she gives them to you to do onl like a day or 2 before the tests.

Very sweet lady. Very dry and lectures are long. There is a lot of work that comes with the class, which takes some time but it helps your grade because there are so many assignments that it's ok if you don't do well on everything. She is passionate about her students. Willing to help & work with you. This is my 2nd time taking a class from her.

She is a really good teacher. Explains things amazingly. Her tests are long, but as long as you do her study packets, and pay attention in class you will pass them. Her labs are easy to understand, and easy to pass. She also makes her labs fun, and interesting. If you miss a test she allows you to make it up.

Okay so Dr. Cook is a very sweet lady, but DO NOT take her. If you are not a chemistry person this class will become your life. You will study for hours on end just to make a C on a test. There are other teachers that make the subject easier to understand. I studied so much for this class just to make one point away from an A. Take my advice.

Mary is a fantastic teacher. She is very helpful when you need it. There are loads of packets and vocabulary words you have to complete before every test but that is the best way to study for her test. She is very particular about lab reports. Its hard to make 100 on them but not extremely hard to pass.

Dr. Cook is so awesome! She does give homework and assignments before tests, but they help tremendously with studying for her tests. Labs were always interesting and fun. She is very patient and understands that chemistry doesn't come easily for everyone. I should come to school and visit her sometime and let her know how much her class has helped me with my current classes.

She give WAYY too much work. Nothing she does on the board makes any sense. It is possible to pass, but just know you have a hard class ahead of you. Work load includes Defining roughly 70 terms (PER TEST), completing 3 study packets (PER TEST) about 6 pages each, and doing about 2 lab experiments per week. Not recommended, but workable.

Dr. Cook is AMAZING! The classd is hard, don't get me wrong, but if you stay and get help with her, show that you are trying, she seriously helps you and I think even gives you points! If you study the packet she gives you, that's ALL you need, never once opened the book, nor did I use my notes.I just study her packets and got help from her.

Dr. Cook is great! Chemistry is hard no matter who teaches it! Most people did really bad because they refused to try. Read, read, and reread her study guides and you will make A's! She very picky about lab work though. I highly recommend her, but you DO have to work!
