Comment:

Horrible experience. Online class and textbook is mandatory - she gives quizzes with 8-15 questions with around 10 minutes or less to complete. No leniency for late work, not much extra credit. Modules are most of your grade, which includes the quizzes. I do not recommend this professor, and will not take her again.

She offered a variety of assignments which was a nice change. The assignments included quizzes, discussion posts, exams, and a few others. Three extra credit opportunities. Assignments due approximately once a month.

Class is straight from the book. Only assignments are quizzes and a couple papers with a huge group project at the end (10-12 page paper) Not a tough grader but the assignments can be a bit confusing. Group project is very lengthy and can be tough getting everyone together. Responds quick to emails.

This class is a lot of work. Don't take it if you're not ready to read. Quizzes and tests come straight from the book. Some questions are fill in the blank so you really need to read to know it. Doesn't give much time on tests and quizzes. She responds quick to emails. Don't take her if you don't have the time to devote to this class.

Don't let the course name fool you. I took this course for an easy A but it was by far the toughest course I took EVER! Alot of work, Alot of assignments! ALOT!!!! Final project is MAJOR! This course requires alot of attention so DO NOT enroll into this course unless you have the time to dedicate to it. This review comes from an honest student.

If you have the chance to take any of Mary Eastep's courses I would highly recommend it. Her directions and grading criteria are extremely clear and straight forward. She's quick to respond to any questions andor needs that you may have. Her courses are set up where they are difficult if you don't do the work and easy if you just do everything.

Pro. Eastep is not THAT bad. She is very helpful and responds to your emails quickly. Expect to write a few papers in which she is incredibly slack on. You have to READ in order to pass her test. You NEED the book. Just make sure you study, do the discussions, and stay on top of everything. This is college, you have to work for for an A.

She is very specific in what she wants. If you don't read, and memorize everything you will struggle on the test which are a HUGE % of the grade. She isn't a tough grader on the basic assignments, but the tests can be tricky. She responds fast and tries to help, but she doesn't mess around. You earn your grade. Read, read, read. You'll pass.

Her syllabus is a mess and hard to follow. She gives 2 deadlines for all assignments and you can do them at your own pace. 2 DB. All modules have a quiz and 3 exams. Final is all chapters 1-1 7 the info comes from the book. Quiz are eazy test are hard.

Her class is set up in modules. The work for the modules is fairly simple. Her tests are tough, but fair. Make sure you know EVERYTHING she lists in her module outline and powerpoint. If you do that you are golden. She does drop your lowest test grade. I will take her again.

DO NOT TAKE HER!! I'm currently enrolled in her prosecution and adjunct ion course. Although she gives you the material at the beginning of the semester, she is still hard and an unfair grader. Dr. Eastep is so easy! She should have a rating of 4.5. The tests are a lil hard if you dont actually read and just use index. But as long as do module you get a 100 so it was pretty simple and easy as long as you do ur work. Grades are done within a week so not long.

Not a horrible class. Taking it online right now, so not sure what my final grade is yet,especially since she takes FOREVER to grade assignments/quizzes. Most important thing you can do is DON'T procrastinate! All discussions are due at your own pace, with quizzes/exams and 2 papers during the semester. Book sucks, difficult to read/no index.

Took online, and it could not be easier. Gives more than a month to complete two modules, which involve a little writing and short quizzes. Exams are taken straight out of the book; VERY easy. You will need to read the book to do well, but it's only like 30 pages a chapter, and you have about a month to read three chapters.
