I cannot even begin to describe how amazing Mary is. Hands down the best professor I've ever had. She genuinely cares about her students and wants to see them succeed. She also prepares you well for tests and has amazing handouts. If you ever get the chance to take a class with Mary, no matter what it is, DO IT.

Mary is an excellent instructor - she gives life to the course. Originally this course would be a waste of time but she made it interesting enough for me to pay attention and like what I was learning. Highly recommend.

Mary is a great teacher, she makes the course interesting (it's very dry and waste of time). There is a lot of group work where she chooses your groups, so if you're unlucky it won't be fun. My only complaint about Mary is that she doesn't really understand personal space (surprisingly given the course) and gets too close into your face sometimes.

Went in not wanting to be there (cheesy course), but Mary made it more than bearable. She's a great instructor and an all around great person to be around. I can see why the course is required, but a lot of what we learned was common sense for most people.

Mary was one of my favourite teachers this semester. I LOVED her class. A few people from my other classes were in a different OB class, and really wished they'd been in mine. It was so much fun, and I loved how she organized the class into groups for discussions.

Mary is one of the best teachers at Capilano University. She taught us Communication 220 and OB. She was always well-prepared for all classes and was always willing to help us with anything. I would take ANY class with her - no doubt about it.

Mary is a wonderfully enthusiastic teacher who made it fun to work your tail off...especially when stickers were involved. She was always there to help and encourage. I've never met anyone who knew that much about the English language and who could make English interesting.
