Dr. Howard wasn't my favorite professor, but I found her highly respectable and appreciated her perspective. Her lectures were hard to follow. Test questions felt arbitrary. However, no question she's a super inspirational person and clearly wants to use anthropology to create a more connected world. Would still definitely recommend.

Such a nice lady who really loves anthropology. She can get confusing sometimes when she talks which makes it hard to learn but as long as you do the readings and come to class then its easy.

Nicest woman ive ever met. Very caring and loves group discussions and participation. Extremely understanding. If your one for organization, You probably will dislike her teaching style. She is extremely unorganized and does things off impulse. However, thats probably why I admire her so much.

Professor Howard is a fantastic teacher. She is very enthusiastic and genuinely cares about her students. She's approachable and willing to go above and beyond to help a pupil with a problem. She is one of the kindest, most hardworking professors at OWU!

Best class I've ever taken at OWU. I've left with a real skill in film making and am impressed with the insightful and helpful teacher. Howard is wise and knowledgeable about word cultures.

She picks really little details from the book and then tests you on them. Her tests do not reflect general concepts but rather very insignifcant details about random tribes. Her lectures are RARELY any part of her exam. She just tells stories about her lectures in class..they are cool stories but not helpful for when you have her tests!
