I was initially very excited for this course because I love English! But she made me absolutely hate it. Everything you do in this class will be SUPER repetitive! She does NOT GIVE SECOND CHANCES BY ANY CIRCUMSTANCE! She expects this class to be your top priority and makes you write so many papers its overwhelming. Worst professor ive ever had.

This proffesror is horrible. Shes very unclear and I do not recommend. Be prepared to have 7+ projects that are to be presented to the class, 2 papers, as well as museum project. Shes not helpful at all although she does give you multiple chances to sumbit things

DO NOT TAKE HER! Other ratings are true, you have to agree with her or you won't pass. That is stupid in an arguing about literature class. She was rude via email and the only way she would "help" is by ripping a paper to shreds and telling you to start over (because you did not exactly agree with her). CHECK YOUR GRADES!!!

I agree with the last 3 ratings. I heard she is good in person. Online it was really confusing at times. She contradicted herself from announcement to announcement. However, she seemed to get better as the semester went on. She tore up my papers early on, but I used her advice and was fine in the class. I enjoyed the challenge.

She was a little unorganized online, I had to make sure I looked through all the tabs on blackboard so I didn't forget to do anything. But, if you email her, she will answer you. The class was challenging, but I heard it's better to take her class at the school instead of online.

If you copy her outline and writing style in this class, you will be successful. Side with her opinions and you'll pass. I work a full time job and I would consider this class easy enough to take with other online classes. The amount of reading in this class is moderate.

I've always been horrible in English and have always hated writing, but I was able to pass this class with a B+. The class consist of about 5 essays, some research and note taking that is graded. 5 essays is intimidating but she gives you an outline to go off from. I would recommend taking this class online. I only really logged online once a week

One assignment I put too much, the next I put too little; my answers were still correct but I got points deducted. I formatted an assignment so she could read it easier and she took points off. She seemed mad at me and I was afraid to ask her what I did to upset her. Also, if you write against her opinion, your grade suffers. Forgetfuldisorganized

Jennings is an awesome teacher! She gives you the topics which aren't to difficult. She's really good at explaining thing, especially if you ask. follow the instruction and have strong thesis and topic sentences. she doesn't put grades online till the end. Do your homework on time and you'll do great! (Don't use any word with thing or stuff!)

I took Jennings for both englishes. The first I took in person. It was easy- the material is dumbed down for the masses and so many idiots have questions that assignments get pushed back. The second I took online. Outdated and unclear info. So many assignments and announcements conflicted and like all said, you have to come to her conclusions.

You will work for your grade. This is a fast paced class (took online Spring 2013). Make sure to read the instructions & follow them (always have a clear thesis, topic sentence and 6-12 sentences per paragraph)& you will do fine. Ms. Jennings is a great professor. She chooses the topics for your papers, and they are ok but not easy subjects to write about. She does get you through it though. She is helpful, responds to emails, and will do whatever she can to get you in the right direction. This class is easy but I would not say an easy A. You will work hard for the A.

Professor Jennings is a great instructor, I took her last semester. I passed her class with an A. The students in the class were very dissrespectful, she is so easy and was helping us out by giving us an easy final and broke it down into daily steps..the students that went to class passed the ones that didnt wished they went to class! Not the most organized instructor but easy class. She is very clear on what she wants you to write. Even Writes example thesis for papers. I did not struggle at all in her class. If you write what she wants you to write youll do good. Lets you rewrite part of a paper for a better grage too.

To start with, it is an easy class,but you have to put an amount of time (especially on the reseach paper) if you want to pass. Overall, 4 paper in the semester including the final and a little bit of reading from the book. Made me a better writer and would not mind taking her for 1302. HORRIBLE!!!! Unorganized and inconsistent. Directions never posted in the same place - had to dig to find assignments. Directions are very unclear, not helpful, inconsistent with grading counting off when info is there! Constantly gives wrong directions, due dates, and even posted the wrong final! Unclear with no attention to detail. BAD!!

Great professor! Took her for 1301 & 02. Very knowledgeable & extremely helpful. She makes it clear what she's looking for in your papers and gives lots of examples for you to expand on. Regular attendance is helpful. The classs before any exams she spends explaining the exam and what she wants from you. Pay attention & read and you'll get an A!
