Super nice and informed woman. She likes to express her opinions, but she's willing to listen to others, if your ideas are well-supported. Really easy class, if you follow directions, and there is nearly no homework. It's all discussion based. She doesn't use BlackBoard, so you don't really know your grade. Didn't learn much, but very easy.

Dr. Aylor is an amazing professor. I took this class as a sophomore and hadn't really had any other education classes but she is more than willing to help and clarify. Projects include lesson plans, game based on a childrens book, 2 exams, and a potluck at the end! Very sincere teacher, loved the class. You'll do fine as long as you go :)

I feel like I would have been much better off in the regular Intro to Teaching class. Though I thought that Dr. Aylor seemed like a nice person, I felt like this class was a waste of money at times and have not learned anything relevant about getting into the College of Education.

WOw- what a bore. She is so unorganized and unclear! It was a horrible experience. She does talk a lot of politics and her views, it sucks. She can be kinda mean if you ask to many questions. It could have been an informative class, but instead it was the worst class at CMU!

Opinionated to the point that students became frustrated. Easy A if you can tolerate her one-sided lectures. She cares about the students, but I wonder if she cares more about her own beliefs even more. We talked more about the presidential election than education.
