Very nice lady and really understands stats, but sometimes she struggled getting the point across to us. She wants you to know why you get answers not just the formulas to get them. Lots of quizzes and test. She wants word for word definitions on quizzes/test or she counts points off. Very willing to help outside of class.

She was super nice and very helpful. I definitely mastered the basic concepts from her class. She didn't have an attendance policy, but you have to go, she'll get on you for missing. Also she got walked on quite a bit by other people in the class, I wish she would stand up for herself a little more :-/

Mary was wonderful. She was always in her office and was more than willing to give assistance whenever she could. The books we used were of no help, so she would always explain concepts in great detail. I don't know how many hours she spent explaining the Race Track Principle over and over again; it never stuck, but not her fault.

Dr. Marshall knows the theories behind CS very well; however, she has trouble getting them across to the students. At least for computer science. However, she will bend over backwards to try to help a student. She is an AWESOME person and a great teacher.

I cannot believe Mary has any negative feedback!!! I took three math courses from her a couple of years ago and she was fabulous. My friend Tom and I always said if wasn't for ol' Jim Marshal, one of us would surely take her hand :-)
