I wasn't extremely interested in sales but the class was definitely interesting. I enjoyed the class and matt quickly became one of my favorite Marketing professors. He is very organized and you can see he enjoys teaching. i'm not sure what the person below is talking about B2B (474) is a great class. If you get the chance you should take it.

Probably the worst prof I've ever had. Mean to students,unhelpful, and spiteful. Horrible semester-long group project and killer essay final, and thats pretty much your whole grade (NOT a good thing). Only take this class if you are SERIOUSLY into B2B mktg!!!

Matt is a very established business man and professor. You cultivate some real world business skills with the case analysis assignments. He is also very realistic and in tune with the busy schedules of MKT seniors, and his assignments and tests are evenly spaced out. Pick a good group for your Mkting project not too small and not too big.

I really liked his way of teaching. You discuss tons of cases and have a really hard time with the marketing plan. But he is fair and drives you to excellence. Very useful class.

Very structured and clear. It is easy to earn a 'B' if you speak two times during every case class. Grading is a bit tough, but it's worth it for one of the best profs at SDSU.

I really enjoyed the class. It was interesting and I felt like I learned a lot. Matt is a good teacher, but he's kinda cold if you want to talk to him. He has that sarcasm attitude and you just have to get used to it. The tests are fair. LOTS of cases, but only 2 case write ups which were easy.

Matt is a tough grader, and a lot of the course grade depends on participation. Just ask questions and make worthwhile comments. The project is tough, and not a lot of instruction is given on it in class, but if you take the initiative to go to his office hours and talk to him he will give you help.

This is a true college class. What the last person said about the grading scale is rediculous, it is awesome. I had 52 points going into the 30 point final and 60 points is a flat C!! I needed an 8/30 to get a C in the class. Class is not that tough. Very engagin too

Call me crazy but I think Mat's hot! His class isn't all that hard, but you have to be cut-throat in participating. Engaging material, his speakers are all boring - ditch these days, group project is tough & he won't really help you on it.
