We read about 23 authors in World Lit I. He tries his best to relate the stories to current movies and books. He almost always gave us a reading check quiz at the beginning of class. The one paper isn't difficult, but it is long. I really wish I would have taken him for EN 208 as well instead of a different teacher.

I have had Dr. K for two classes at UA. He is a great professor. At first he comes off as odd but you grow to appreciate his quirky personality. He wants you to succeed. Show up to his class and it's an easy A or B+!

Mr. Kelley is generally a good teacher. However, all the homework he assigns is working problems and the majority of his tests are conceptual. This makes things difficult if you don't automatically think that way. But, overall, the class was easy.

Mr. Kelley's class wasnt the most exciting class, but it was pretty easy and he can be pretty funny at times. His essay's are reasonable and not very hard. Just make sure you do the reading. He gives lots of reading quizes, but they dont count for much. Just go to class and do the papers and you'll get a good grade.

His tests were easy and came pretty much straight from his lectures. Although he can be kind of annoying to listen to, if you go to class and take good notes, you don't really need to use the book that much to make a good grade. Def go to class, some stuff he asks isn't in the book!

This was a fun class to go to. Everything was generally interesting, and he helped with funny stories. One thing I must say is that the mullet he has must go, but other than that it was a really cool class. If you show up, you will honestly do very well.

This isn't a hard class. Homework isn't mandatory, but extremely helpful for the test. Attendance counts for part of your grade. (2 points a week...but is only a small portion of grade) He is very sarcastic and smart alleck. He's not my favorite person, but overall,the class itsself isn't bad at all.

TERRIBLE! the WORST teacher i have EVER had at this university. he doesn't offer much guidance. you pretty much have to read the chapters word for word to have a chance on the tests. good luck to anyone that attempts a class with dr. kelley.

He's funny at times, but I don't find the lectures really interesting. You don't have to go to class to do well on the test. I didn't go to class at all, just read the book and took my own notes and made a 98 on the test. The only grades you have are 3 tests and a final, and the final is worth more; so make sure to study!

I'm just glad i'm not the only one that thought that final was terrible, and he curved it, so he totally screwed the people who made half way descent on it. It sucked, if your going to take him for social, take it in the summer, he doesnt make you write that crappy paper that should not be required in a 300 level class!

This guy is pretty interesting and keeps the class going. His tests are relatively easy, but his FINAL is a killer. I mean, it is the most ridiculous test I've ever taken. He is not a "teacher" in any sense of the word; His classes are ego exercises. Easy tests until you reach the final, which required more than just the help of the obviously last-minute study guide he provided. Asks students unfamiliar with APA to write a 20 page paper with zero guidance. Unable to return tests in a reasonable amount of time. Avoid.
