I did pretty good in Math 300, and i liked that course. -- This course however I'm finding he goes through the material far too fast. I very much dislike how there is no online notes, or a text book in which I can read through in this course. Written homework is very hard, and mostly unrelated to quizzes/exams. Few to no actual examples in class.

Gives way too much homework - we once had a homework, quiz, test, and project due the same week. His multiple choice test questions do not accurately or fairly demonstrate how much one has learned.

This professor writes so much on the board that you will almost never pay attention because you can barely keep up taking notes. There is also a ton of homework, but you'll understand every detail and be able to pass the class.

I have had Klassen for the vast majority of the math classes I've taken at DigiPen (MAT100, MAT250, MAT358 (now MAT258), and MAT300 (twice)). MAT300, of course, is no laughing matter, and that class is serious business. However, he is a great teacher, and I feel he has become a friend of mine. WAY better than Jahn. Multiple choice tests were always clear and covered the material that I expected to see. Sometimes they were even cooked so that you could figure out problems from other questions by looking at possible answers to a given question.

He's a man with a plan. So buck-up and follow... or fall behind and be trampled. Difficult class, but he's an excelent teacher with a lot of knowlege. Take his classes in the summer to avoid the EVIL multipule choice tests. And he's an amazing guitarist.

Easily the worst prof I've had in my 18 years of school. I learned nothing from him and got through by the skin of my neck. Worked my ass off too! Now I have to get a B in calc 2 without ever being taught integration. What's this all about?!

Definitely not an easy treatment of the material, however for the depth he does go into he keeps it relatively clear (still hurts). Very helpful, answers any questions you may have during office visits (you'll need to stop in... alot).
