Coach Utesch is a teacher, mentor and a friend. He sets up high expectations for you and helps you reach them. I can't what I read from all the failed so-called athletes who commented before me. I guess they never had the taste of a Patriot League championship or a trip to Nationals. I was an good HS athlete. Coach Utesch took me to the next level.

Horrible coach who tries to make a track team a family. Plays favorites and requires unreasonable--and illogical--things of his team. Preaches that God, family, and school come before track, yet does not let track athletes live by this formula. Horrible

He knows alot about Track and Field but puts his needs far ahead of those of this athletes. The truth is, if you are good coming into Lehigh, you will get help to become better. If you are not so good coming in, you will be left to help yourself.
