I was not pleased that I had to take a physics class as an University requirement, but I was very pleased that Professor Balanda made this class as enjoyable as possible by giving us just the basics of physics, as well as making the tests easy enough to get an A for the course if you put in enough effort practicing the math and studying.

BEST TEACHER I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!!!!!!! He makes sure everyone understands the material and will go over anything that is unclear. His 3 test are easy if you study the note sheets. East A and you actually learn a lot. HE IS THE BEST

3 tests all easy. 3 homework assignment due day of each test. Yes it's an evening class but never stayed past 7. Easy take him!!! I passed with an A. No book. Just calculator, pen and a few note sheets. GREAT CLASS

Pretty much what everyone else said. He's a cool dude, really laid back and breaks everything down so everyone can understand it. He knows that most people don't really care about physics so the tests are pretty easy. Notes sheets are awesome. This is my second time taking this class, my first time getting a D, but with Balanda I'm getting an A.

GREAT TEACHER. TAKE HIM TO FULFILL SCIENCE REQUIREMENT. gives you note sheets for the powerpoints. tells you exactly what is on the test. no surprises. lets you out early. tests are easy and if more than 50 % of class gets a test question wrong then he removes it from the test and doesnt count it against you.. take him!

awesome teacher and really funny. explains the material clearly but i suggest going to each class even though he doesn't take attendance. a lot of material is covered and theres no book just clickers. will make physics interesting even if you're taking it just for a general ed. requirement!

Extremely easy. Just go to class and take notes and study your notes and you will do fine. No book required just a clicker for attendance and participation. Don't miss a class because you'll miss a lot. But such a nice guy and if you have a close decimal at the end of the semester he will round it up.
