Horrible teacher!! Contradicts himself and is unclear with expectations. I agree with the other comments that his class is useless because all he does is tell boring stories and insulting jokes. Has an "I don't care how you do" attitude. On the other hand, if you like video games like War of the Worlds or something like that you will love him.

You have to be a complete idiot not to pass this class, and not do the work! Very easy assignments. 4 Papers, and like 12 short response papers over stories you read. I took this in a flex start, but it was very easy. 2 were extra credit, and make sure you participate in class its worth 100 points. Overall a nice man and easy class

The people who complain about this teacher are the people who are lazy & didnt do the work. He is very nice and very helpful. He wants you to be successful in his class & will help you in every way he can. He lets you know what he wants from you & if you do it. You will get an A, if not then you will get the F that you deserve. This isnt Highschool

Comment:

Makes you think and work for your grade but makes class fun. Repeats info many times to reinforce. Gives MANY examples and relates to students through cartoons, movies, and personal stories. If you pay attention, all the examples do help. Everything is clearly written out on the syllabus.

His directions for writing his papers make little sense, and when you ask him to clarify himself he gets mad at you. He also had some dumb requirements for his papers, and his lectures are terribly boring. I did however find it to be easy to get a good grade on one of his papers.

Great Teacher. Taken during summer B04 - Explains EXACTLY what he wants and if its in the paper you recieve an A. Extemly liberal IN EVERYWAY so dont write too much about right wing topics and you should get a good grade.

Nice guy, funny and laid back. First paper is the worst, the rest are really easy, just follow guidelines to a key. Cares abotu his students, dosent care if youre late and dosent really hound on absences. Show that youre willing to try and youll do well.
