Comment:

The best professor I've taken at SSU throughout my college career. Very calm almost ASMR-like voice, a little bit on a quiet side though, requiring to pay good attention in class to fully understand. Very knowledgeable, explains concepts quite good, is available after class if you have any questions. What else would you want from a professor?

She's friendly professor but it's hard to understand her when she talks because she talks low and kinda mumbles. She is helpful when you need testing accomodations and you can see her right after class; she drops the lowest quiz gradeHer grading on quizzes is sixty percent and she after the first few assignments she doesn't collect; grade homework.

Maura Murray is a saint! I am going to be taking her for my third time next semester. She is so helpful! When I had her for calc I there were times I was wicked confused but a trip to her office hours would clear things right up! She may be soft spoken but she is fantastic at one on one teaching!

What a sweet and pleasant woman! Her feedback is amazing and her office hours are so useful! She was clear about what was expected and the tests, although difficult, were composed of relevant class material. I recommend strictly following the book along with the class! She is pleasant and kind, and lenient if you she knows your committed.

Comment:

Maura Murray is a great professor who is always willing to help her students, in class or after class. Very easy going and the lectures are pleasant. She's just a pleasant person to be around. Willing to scale. I got a C+ only because I tuned out at the end of the semester and campaigned for a friend running for office. That was all on me, not her.

Probably the sweetest and most sincere woman you will ever meet in your life. Incredibly soft spoken so very important to sit up front. Sometimes a little scattered as she will forget that this is precalc and not calc 1. Drops lowest quiz and will work with you if you are struggling. Would not dream of taking another math class without her.

I recommend to sit in front. Very quiet and soft spoken. She doesn not give extra credit. She made us do a quilt project which didn't help us understand anything in the class. She gives you quizzes and exams with about 10 or less problems. One quiz was 4 problems so if you got 2 wrong you got a 50! Sorry not a fan of this teacher.

Okay, math makes me cry. With that said, if math is going to make me cry, I would rather do it with Prof. Murray! She is so NICE and gives you chances to make up bad grades. She drops the lowest grades. She goes at a nice slow pace for the mat90 students and it is necessary. She made me understand it more.

This is the nicest person you will ever meet. She is so gosh-darn nice you will just want to go on a picnic with her and talk about modular arithmetic and factorials.
