By far, with out any doubt, the best professor at Stonehill. I have taken 4 classes with her and she is the most caring, compassionate professor at Stonehill. Stonehill needs more professors like her! She is clear,concise and truly cares about her students

Tyrrell is so nice, her tests are hard but not if you study days in advance, do not cram for her tests you wont do well, she will do anything for you and shell know your name within 3 days..

Prof Tyrrell is a very nice woman and will go out of her way to help you. However because she is very smart and knows so much about Ecology and Biology she tends to assume that the students do too and basically teaches off of power point slides that aren't always clear. Good labs, bad classes. Not good at explaining math!

Even though I've only had class for about a month, I still love her! She is one of my favortie professors. The quizzes sometimes throw you a curveball, but just make sure you know your material and you'll be fine!

Prof. Tyrell is very helpful both inside and outside of lecture. She is always willing to provide extra help when needed. Daily quiz questions come directly from the questions on the textbook's website. She also provides very detailed study guides before each of the 3 tests, and is very fair grader.

Despite having surgery just weeks before the semester began, she showed up to every class. The tests can challenging but she's an extremely fair grader. The work load isn't too bad...daily quizzes are the worst part. She's understanding of most situations, always willing to help students out, and the sweetest lady ever.

Prof Tyrrell is the nicest lady and it is obvious that she like lives for the subject, however, I did poorly in class because she goes very fast and covers a lot in a short amount of time. There are 3 tests and all are extremely hard.

Power point lectures are interesting, but be prepared to mostly study the book for exams. Nice lady and very helpful, but exams cover a TON of stuff that she doesn't go over in class. Just make sure to read your book!
