Maureen is fantastic and one of the reason so many kids at Stout love interior design. She is kind awkward and hilarious in the best way possible. She is really fantastic for interior design studio courses and one of the easier design drawing professors.

I had her for Interiors 1... loved her. she's great. she's really good at reading her audience; she knew when we were tired, and most of the time she let us go early as long as we were on track. she's fair, and she grades you on your work than what she likes/dislikes. can't wait to take Interiors 3 with her!

Great teacher! This was a hard subject to learn, but she made it fun and easier than other teachers I've heard about. Understands that hers is not the only class you're taking and doesn't expect the unreasonable. She could be a little more clear in her critiques, but that may just be me - no one else seemed to have a problem with that.

I LOVE Maureen!!! She is definitely one of the best teachers I've ever had! She REALLY knows her stuff. Funny, quirky, practical, understanding, very helpful, definitely knows how to critique but NEVER harsh or condescending. Makes her class a very friendly atmosphere and makes a looong class go quickly (even lets out early sometimes...)
