Maureen is honestly the best professor I've had a Seton Hill. She cares about her students and is so passionate about what she teaches, it makes you want to learn. If you listen and take some notes while she talks you'll pass her tests without issues. She doesn't take attendance but if you don't show up you're only hurting yourself.

Classes are lecture based so take good notes. She posts reviews for tests in a timely manner. The grading consisted of three very large tests and one five page research paper. Grading is harsh but do what you have to do and you will pass. Skip class and you will need to get notes from someone else. Also biggest textbook I have ever seen in my life.

Suuuper easy class, both History of Western Art I and II. It's a lecture class, so you have to take notes to pass, but I never had to use the textbook. And if you're the kind of person who needs the book too? GET ANY VERSION. She does not care.

I have had many classes with Maureen. The survey courses are intense, and I studied a lot for them, but, I was so interested that I retained enough knowledge to not even study for the tests and get A's. BE A CULTURE VULTURE. DO NOT JUST MEMORIZE. LEARN. she will take any information you know on the tests. if you can't remember the date, its ok.

This teacher is a nice lady, very friendly. She knows her information well, however more valuable teaching strategies need to be initiated in the course other than lecture. Many college class have a lot of lecture,but the information was taught as a tour guide. No worksheets, no group projects, and no real world examples. Overall poor teacher.

I had Maureen for class a long time ago and her gorgeous eyes made the bus trip from St. Vincent early in the day worth it! All kidding aside, she was always interesting, extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the subject matter.

Teaches several art history classes, is so charismatic that many people change to art history majors. Great as an advisor too. The classes seem tough at first, but she is an amazing and funny speaker, and she provides an excellent study guide to make testing easy. Attend, listen, use the guide, and you'll learn & pass :)

Amazing Professor. Passionate about her work. Our tastes in art are very different, but she is respectful of that. She loves all of her students, especially those who have an interest in art. Always happy and smiling, and always willing to help you when you need it. Very organized.

I had her for many art history courses, she's a great teacher. She'll tell you all the strange facts that you wouldn't get from your books. The classes i took from her were a lot of fun, but you really have to work hard. She's understanding and humorous.

Maureen is one of the best teachers I've had. She'll do anything to help you understand. She truly loves her art, and it comes through when she's teaching. If you have her.. be thankful..there arent many out there that are as good as she is.
