He is a super sweet person but I honestly could not follow what he was saying.I did not understand the connection to teaching. He also interrupts you constantly when you present or even make a statement about something.He is a great person and seems very wise I just did not learn as much as I would've liked to this semester.

He is honestly the best teacher I have ever had. I get why people don't like him-he goes off on tangents and is opinionated, but he makes you THINK and form your own opinions too. If you just sit around and act like you don't want to be there, then yes, you will hate this class. You have to engage yourself. And he is ALWAYS there to help you.

Horrible. Didn't learn a thing in this class. He literally just uses class time to tell personal stories and interject his own opinion. Interrupts students constantly. Never learned anyone's name in a class of 25. Made me not want to major in education.

Martinez is so fun! I absolutely love going to his class every day. He tells great stories and knows how to keep the class amused. The tests are easy as long as you take good notes (he usually goes over what will be on it the class before anyways), and aside from a few reports and projects, the class is pretty simple. I definitely recommend it!

Teacher is very odd, but fun. You may find yourself wondering what he is talking about at times but he brings it full circle. Easy class, but can go according to his mood. No late, attendance policy. Teacher will work with you, and like for people to be active in the class but does not require it. I had a good time overall.

martinez actually challenges students to think outside of the box, so if you're one of those people who need a straightfoward answer you probably would want a different teacher. However, i think he a very wise individual and what short time i've been in his class i have gained invaluable tools to aid in future careers. Different, but awesome dude.

very unique and knowledgable guy. he often strays away from the text, but his stories are interesting. make sure you take notes in his class!!! mid term was easy, straight from the notes, but the final was impossible! furthermore, take advantage of any and all extra credit opportunities he gives you, it makes a big difference in the end!
