I absolutely loved taking this class. Prof. Parra is so passionate about Spanish and really engages you the whole class period. I really learned a lot from him because it wasn't a normal lecture. He encourages you to make mistakes so you can learn from them. There are many papers but they are very easy to write about and he's an easy grader. 10/10

Easy A, but you don't learn a thing in his class. You discuss readings in class. It is very easy to get him off topic by bringing up Colombia for example. He treats his students like little kids by clapping his hands and asking how we are, which is very annoying. Don't take his classes unless you're really desperate for an easy A.
