Prof. Zuniga is one of the sweetest people you'll meet but his classes are tough. He tries to be helpful but it's really hard to understand him sometimes. The tests will kill you if you don't study- you have to teach yourself a lot. Also, for those with social anxiety, you're forced to participate.

Dr. Zuniga is such a smart and cute man but his class is sooo boring. We read out of the book that whole class other than speeches in Spanish. He makes you do extra things out of class and I don't think the I became better in Spanish conversation at all.

Awesome teacher, I've taken spanish for 7 years but I'm nowhere near perfect in it. He accepted that and is very understanding if you don't know the answer when he asks you something. He uses the textbook to teach but that is good since you know thats exactly what the test will be. You will need to study a bit but it isnt the hardest class .

Terrible Professor. Took Spanish for 7 years so i expected to get a pretty nice grade. Serious medical issues occured where i missed alot of classes so i gave him doctors notes. I did all of his work and participated when i could. He failed me BECAUSE i missed classes due to my medical condition. Its like pulling teeth trying to understand him.

Zuniga is the sweetest professor ever and always wants to help his students. He keeps the class light hearted and is always making jokes, if you are a good hard working student he will have a lot of respect and patience for you. Extremely intelligent man, and great teacher, definitely recommend him!

He's a really sweet man and really wants his students to do well. The class is the activities out of the book so you need to buy it and if you took Spanish before this it's a piece of cake. Also, he is kind of hard to understand at first but you catch on soon.

Dr. Zuniga is a really sweet man! It was a bit difficult to understand him the first few days of class but really listening in and getting to know his speaking style helped a lot. Really knowledgeable too!! Assessments are a little "out there" but they work for his teaching style. I always looked forward to his class!

Not bad - I am a Spanish major and it was a breeze. Nice man and an old fashioned Spanish teacher. Everyone complains about his speech but it is not that horrible. It may take getting used to, but people are way too harsh about it. Overall, I really enjoyed his class

I had him this summer and after reading everyones comments i was horrified i would not pass the class nor that i would like him. I passed with a B+ and I did like him. People need to understand that in college you will have to do work and yes it can be hard but if you are not lazy you should do fine. He is not that bad of a prof and is nice too

I had him for a summer class and was the worst professor ever. The listening section of the test is automatic points off b/c you cant understand him. Follows the book word for word and hardly ever teaches out side of the text.

I've taken Dr. Zuniga for spanish 104 and 212. He's a great professor for Spanish majors and minors. He really knows what he's talking about, but can hard to be understand. He's the sweetest man and tries to help you with whatever problems you have if you attend class regularly and try. I don't reccomend him for nonmajors or spanish beginners.

We read 4 books. One was long, two were really short. He repeats himself a lot, but is very detail-oriented. He also loves movies and you can tell he knows a lot about literature. He's also an author. His accent is a bit strong and he lisps a bit, but he's really not THAT hard to understand. Great class if you like literature!

He knows what he is teaching and talking about. Can sometimes be a little difficult to understand because of his accent, but it is good practice for Spanish majors. If you aren't good at Spanish, the class won't be without difficulty, but it is very do-able. Some view him as dry, Zuñiga can be a really funny man. Very well educated.

He is a good teacher, he jokes around alittle and will help you if you show that you are trying. He is a bit hard to understand because of the way he talks, but as long as you study and apply yourself you will do fine.

I withdrew from this class because the man is literally impossible. On the first day of ELEMENTARY spanish I, he informed us we would have a five minute oral exam due in the next two weeks. He get's very angry when you don't understand him, but he does not speak clearly so you most likely will not understand him. Good luck if you have him!

I had him for Advanced Spanish Speech..Really nice guy, although he can be hard to understand especially for lower levels. He'll help you out if you're having trouble. Jokes around a bit. The only bad thing is he teaches right out the book and his teaching style is very boring.
