Comment:

Megan is sort of a crazy person. I am on the fence about whether or not I actually liked her class, as it was easy but bizarre. If you like doing whatever you want and are super creative, take a class with her. If you like any sort of structure to your courses, I do not recommend her.

DON'T TAKE AN AUDIO CLASS WITH HER!!! She is much better in a studio class, she allows students to take the reigns and really make a product that is truly theirs. She also has you do journals throughout the semester on strange topics that you will hate during the class, but are used in almost all upper level classes. Take for studio not audio!

She is the worst professor at Park by far. The woman has no idea what she is teaching and assigns things then forgets about them. She relies on the TA and used the other audio professor to teach us pro tools. Also I went into her for help and she told me I was going to fail. While in class she decided to have the final then instead of the exam date

She is the reason that the tenure system should be abloished!(especally for communications professors) She is completely out of touch with how the industry is working and advances in technology. If you are going to teach a course that involves technology, learn how to use the new technology! She completely relies on her TA to teach the class.

Meagan is very scatter-brained and so is her teaching method. She forgets what she assigns, and when things are due, popping quizes and homeworke due dates when she remembers. You are left leaving her class with less of an idea of the subject then you started with.

I've had Megan twice so far, and both times it was a blast. She gives a lot of work, but none of it's particularly difficult and the deadlines go on forever. (Turned in a project a month late, no penalty.) Very nice, understanding lady and her classes are fun. Her installation / video work is great.

Completely batty and scatterbrained -- but also a lot of fun. Her class is like a roller coaster ride. Megan is very open to creativity and experimenting, but also really knows her stuff. Does a great job teaching aesthetic theory along with technical production skills. You'll learn a lot.
