She is a nice lady and really knows her stuff. Ask her questions about the papers and show you care, and your grade will be better. Attend class and take notes every time..thats how the class works. However, if you dont come to class, its not the end of the world. Wiki the review and you will do great. Im expecting an A so far

Prof. Owens AWESOME! I can"t beleve that people on here have said the mean things. Had David Garrison- DO NOT TAKE EVER!!! Owens is interesting, nice and respectful. EZ A if you go to class and study b4 tests. Syllabus right on! Lets out early when she can. bonuses too. wish i had her for both semesters!Prof Owens u rock! U really care about us!

easy teacher but she'll bore you to death. she takes sections out of the book and makes slide shows then reads them to you. i skipped class all the time and never took notes, but i read the chapter summaries in the book before the test and made A's. If you take good notes, you dont even need to waste your money on a book that you cannot sell back.

I actually took her for both of my Government classes. She's very loopy, but if you need to miss a class it's not a big deal. I never opened my book, studied only from the notes and got an A. There are 2 papers and you have to go to a meeting, but they're easy.

They got a new text book the semester i started and she was also provided slides. and all she does the ENTIRE class is read from the slides, you have to view a city council meeting and two other governmental things, but she never gives you enough warning, so if you work, its hard to get to those civic engaements. i woulnd't recommend her

Attend every single class and study what she mentioned during the classes. Tests from what she covered and talked about, even though the material is not in your textbook. She will give you a lot of opportunity to get out of from a little text book and to learn what is really going on and to think critically. She is an awesome teacher.
