You know how 99% of professors only give you maybe 20-30 learnsmart questions? Yeah, get ready to do 70-80. Not to mention the 30 question within 30 minute quizzes and 10 question homework. All PER CHAPTER! I do not recommend taking if you are full time work and school.

*I took this online* EVERYTHING was through McGraw Hill's Connect program, so technically the computer was the teacher but the professor seemed nice and not difficult to deal with at all. You will get full credit just by completing the homework questions from the text. Quizzes and the application-like questions, however, are graded by accuracy.

I like her as a teacher and she is a very nice lady. She is extremely enthusiastic but I still find myself dozing off in her class. I am not super into economics and that might be why I am dozing off. If you are going to take one of her classes, take an online class. She puts everything online, including her lectures. Trust me, you'll get bored.

Just had Prof Ruterbusch Spring 2015 for macroeconomics. If you don't get an A or B in the class then you are doing something wrong. all quizzes are unlimited attempts and ICA's are fairly easy. Grades on a point based system. Exams are a little tough, take the quizzes atleast 10 times. A lot of quiz ?'s are on the test.

I took Mrs. Rueterbusch ECON 125 online class, it was straight forward, but there was a lot of reading that went into it. You had to read the material to pass the tests with good grades. All the assignments and tests are off a website that you have to buy as well to get into. So there is an added cost to her class. Overall though, good professor

Well its economics so watch out! the good thing about taking it online is the ability to take the quizzes more than once. Power point r there so u can print them for reference. The test are just like the quizzes (about 25% are from the quiz) and are of course timed. If you can manage time well definitely take it online! Its about a chapter a week.

I have her for Personal Money Management, She was not very nice. When I didn't have my financial planning cases free of grammar errors and since there were a couple sentences not written in her standards she gave me a 0 out of 50. I asked if I couple get partial credit or fix them and that was not an option and my grade dropped dramatically.

I took her online for Macroeconics. She gave me a 2.0 at midterm then failed me at the end. She tries to keep you from dropping her class with curving your midterm grades and then dropping you on your face for the final grade. I emailed her for her help she apologized that I was doing poorly in her class, then refused to help me.

Tough not to get an A in the class, took other econ classes at state universities and she explains it where you won't miss even the simplest concepts. Very good entry level ECON teacher, her letting you take quizzes multiple times will help you learn the concepts which other schools typically won't and that is the learning difference.

Super nice lady, but doesn't have a clue. Reading off the powerpoints is pretty easy to do if your the teacher, at least try to do something to keep our attention, anyway, just try your best and she will probably give you the benefit of the doubt.

I have never failed a class and this class was my first. Yes, there is a first for everything. However, Melissa was of no help. The exams are very difficult and she does not allow you to use any notes. Never again will I take a class with her teaching it!

She is an okay teacher, but dosn't really know how to teach. She just reads off a powerpoint slide. I could easily do that myself, and I would recommend taking her online.
