I received a C on my first exam in her entry Biology class (I was livid) and had to learn how to really study. Micro changed my life, though. I went to grad school and a professional school and breezed through as no one was as demanding as Dr. Taverner. I still remember her as my best professor (and I've had a few).

Tav knows her material. She has to be the most intelligent person I know, and she can communicate her knowledge without flaw. She is so helpful and will explain anything you need to know, Just ask! If you go to E&H and are a BioChem major, if you don't take her for at least one class you've wasted your money! You must take her classes!

I've taken 5 classes with Taverner. What can I say...she's the most awesome professor in the world, her classes are the most interesting on the college, but my gosh her tests will seriously nail you if you aren't on your game. Study notes hard (skip the textbook) and it'll pay off.
