This was perhaps one of the most essential classes in my academic career. As part of the Inside-Out Prison Exchange program, students directly interact with their peers inside of the Bristol County jail. Professor Holloway lead epic group conversations that were both redeeming and respectful, and over the semester, we all became good friends.

I took a class with Memory inside a Women's Correctional Facility. It was through the Inside Out program where inmates and college students came together to learn. The class was life changing. The experience is one I would recommend to anyone who would enjoy a new classroom environment, an eye-opening experience, and a wonderful professor.

Dynamic instructor! Loves to teach and share knowledge. Weekly papers with fantastic feedback that truly helps improve your work. A wonderful class with a very caring professor. Graduate level discussions that get the whole class involved. We worked hard but had a great time doing it.

I love Memory as a person. She is very inspirational and really great to go to for advice, but as a professor she is lacking. Often confusing. drags on. and likes to change things on her syllabus. She does give her finals in mid April though so that we dont have to worry about them during finals week which is great.

A great lady. A teacher who is actually interested in teaching, and in her students. Good sense of humor. The only partially negative thing I have to say is that she gets sidetracked sometimes, but the tangents can be interesting to follow. I've learned a lot from this professor.

Funny and interesting professor. EASY class! Basically show up in sweats with a snack, sit back and watch movies. The material is actually useful and easy to grasp. Holloway is a great professor and has some good stories. A little scatter brained but it doesn't affect your grade.

Memory Holloway is by far the most interesting and educated Professor I have ever encountered. Not only will you learn about art, you will learn about yourself. Her teaching methods are brillant and exciting. The work load is light and most work is done in class by discussion. I guarentee you will love any class you take with her.

Memory is a great enthusiastic teacher, she has a real passion for the subject and is very easy to talk to for help or anything else. Also, not gonna lie, I love listening to her talk, she's got a great accent. I will def take classes with her again if I can.

I have taken 3 courses with her. She is one of my favorites. She wants you to walk away from her class having learned something. She focuses a lot on writing and gives lots of advice on how to make your writing better, and it will get a lot better. In some courses you only write papers and do not have exams. Sometimes she even bakes cakes for us.

She's really passionate and interesting and smart but I don't often feel like we get much accomplished in the class. She's a bit disorganized but the class was easy and interesting and she really puts a lot of herself in it. We didn't have any tests so I can't say what that's like.

Brilliantly intelligent woman. Passionate about teaching and cares for her students. Her tests are not hard if you study, and notes are pretty clear. She's very genuine and enjoyable. She tried all semester to give us the best possible learning environment, just for us.
