Absolutely the hardest class I have ever taken throughout my entire college career. It was a gen ed, had nothing to do with my major and was ridiculously hard. Classmates would complain about the impossible exams. Test reviews did not match actual exam. Would not recommend taking this class.

She was okay. As long as you pay attention and do your work you could get an A. The tests are hard but you are allowed to have a piece of paper back and front with notes for every exam. I wouldn't mind taking her again. Very straightforward. She puts the powerpoints online too.

I thought this class was going to be a lot easier then it actually was. Lectures are long and boring. In order to pass the tests you have to study and pay attention in class. There are 3 tests, final, easy online quizzes, and reports that make up your grade. It is not an easy A , but it is possible to get an A as long as you are put in the effort.

Overall a good professor. Quizzes are all online so you can use your notes but her tests are impossible! I am an A student and got 70s on every test. Class is boring but she is very nice.. Avoid taking her if you do not like online tests

Dr. Ervin is an extremely fair, clear, and kind professor. Her expectations are clear from the start: Online Quizzes, a few page-long reports, and 3 exams. As long as you attend class, you'll learn enough through her clear and thorough lectures/powerpoints that the tests will be simple. I am not a science person, but she made it bearable!

Professor Ervin is so unclear in her teaching; I got her by mistake because they switched proffessors. There have been many times in class where someone asks a question and she will say "i dont know". She's a nutrition expert but anything outside of it, don't expect her to know. I got A's in my Bio 2 AP class and following her was so difficult.

Had her for Natural and Discovery Science. You should take her because she's pretty cool, quizzes online and you can take them twice (gives you the answers) and the tests aren't that bad. Just show up, do the quizzes, and your guarnteed a B. You can also bring your laptop in and not pay attention too.

Great professor. Loved having Dr. Ervin. Extremely nice and extremely helpful. Science is not my thing but she made it painless. Very easy class. Easy online quizzes which you do at home and easy exams on the computer. That's it. Just review quickly and you're more than fine.
