If you never want eat, sleep or have any free time, by all means, take Merry Merryfield's multicultural education class. A ridiculous amount of work. Much of it was redundant.

If by hard you mean the standards are high and the coursework rigorous, then yes, her classes are hard, as they should be if you want a first-rate education. She gives twice as much as she demands/encourages from her students. You will leave her class a far stronger student and learner.
