Comment:

Teacher is not a people person. I suggest another career path for her. Comes to class with a bad attitude and never smiles. Will not answer questions clearly unless you ask in perfect Spanish and understand her response in Spanish, this included beginners courses. Class calendar and schedule changes frequently. You miss one class and you fail.

Profesora Ramos Is very helpful all you need to do is ask. New languages are hard but you'll see she makes it as easy as possible to understand, you just need to learn which is what you are there for so just listen. You work at your own pace and she is kind and lenient if you are falling behind you only need to explain why. Effort and RESPECT help.

Comment:

Professor Ramos is sweet and nice, but she has favorites, so if you're not one of her favorites then you pretty not going to enjoy her class. A lot of exams, quizzes, and homework online! She speaks spanish even though it's a beginner class, so that's why it's harder to understand. Her way of teaching is confusing and doesn't make sense.

Demands a lot gives very little explanation.Even gets annoyed when you ask questions. Too strict for what she puts into the class. She's forgetful and not clear about homework. Does not work off a syllabus so that even gets worse. Even though the class overall is not that bad with this teacher I do not recommend you take it.

Mandatory to attend and show proof of 2 cultural events and 1 cultural film. lots of online homework and 15 exams plus homework from class and lots of oral presentations! And -10pts every time your absent. And she has favorites.She treats her class like if its the only class you are taking and you will be doing more hwk in this class than the rest

She would come in one day and be nice and the next she would be grumpy. She's very strict about attendance and cell phones and homework. She had favorites. And every time I asked her a question she would give me an attitude. There is a possibility you can learn with her but I would NOT recommend her.

10/9/03 If you commit yourself to working hard you can do very well. professor Ramos is a good teacher, she does move quickly but it is up to us to do the work. I think she cared very much about what she does and about her students. She puts much effort.
