Prof. Anciello is quite old and can forget what he is talking about time to time. He is a very good teacher however and he loves what he does. He only expects you to do one paper for the whole semester and gives you every question that will be on the exams. All in all boring lectures but easy A

This class was torture. I'm a history major and I couldn't stand being in that class for more than five minutes. He shows up 10 minutes late to every class and then wastes half the class mumbling about the economy. Very unclear while he lectures and hard to follow along with. Run. Run now!

Awful professor way past his teaching prime. Notes are all over the place and he expects you to be a 2-3 chapters ahead. I'm a history major and even I find his class boring and monotonous. Asks questions no one will know the answer to even if you did the reading. Butchers every name he pronounces. There are better hist profs so AVOID HIM!

He's an extremely knowledgeable of the subject, however he's terrible at teaching. His class was extremely boring and I had to teach myself a great deal of the material. He's not very helpful and often goes off on tangents. He also told my class we'd all end up at working at Mcdonalds. Avoid this class if you can!

I am a hist mjr, and tried my best to give this guy the benefit of the doubt. I showed up, did the reading, and defended him to other students. But honestly, this guy is hopeless. Has no business teaching. Obviously he is an expert in his field- but he is stuck a few decades back and has absolutely no feel for the present day classroom. Stay away!

By far the worst professor I've had at WSC. He expects everyone to read ahead 2-3 chapters and manage to recall every minute detail. He gets angry when no one answers his never ending list of ambiguous questions. His lectures are long winded and pointless. If you want to do well read the syllabus because he won't tell you the assignments in class.

He lectures...on..and on...and on. He's very difficult to understand and says "In other words" and "What that means is". He's quite boring, really. He's enthusiastic and knowledgeable, but the notes and reading is excessive. My advice: If you take his class, pay attention to the syllabus, not his lectures. He says a lot that you don't need to know

I had Prof Anciello for two courses at WSC and I liked his classes. I found the content to be be pretty interesting however if you are not a history major, you would probably find him dull. He is a very nice guy though and will help you as much as he can.

This guy gets kind of a bad reputation for being boring. Yes, he is boring, I won't lie, but this class was very easy. He knows what he's talking about. There are better professors you can have for this course but you can certainly do a lot worse than Anciello

BORING!! Drink vast amounts of caffeine before this class!! Not a bad teach but gets mad if people don't speak up when he asks a question. Expects you to have read ahead 3 chapters. Tests aren't bad, identifications and short essays and not a terrible grader. If you take notes and manage to stay awake, not an extremely difficult class.

Let me put it this way, "im probably the worst teacher at westfield" lol, he isnt THAT BAD but seriously he isnt very good, his notes are EVERYWHERE, his tests suck and he grades wrong...overall not a fun class, funny im taking him again oo boy

bad proffesor...told the class the final was at a different time than the book said it was...a couple days later when someone tried to verify what time the final was he told her to "check the book" ...this caused about half the class to show up at one time and half to show up at another...
