Cloud is without question the most articulate, detailed, and exact professor I've ever had. He actually seems to (get this) take his subject seriously. I think his one flaw is that he grades much easier than he makes the class seem to be.

Do not take this teacher for emag. try to avoid him for emag the best you can. He is extremely hard and gets cocky when asked to answer any question. absolutely horrible teacher i hated him and i will never take him again .

I think he is one of the best, imposible to fail his course and hard to get an A his grading system is very intelgent... i think Profs Cloud and Johnston and the best in the department, both are clear, helpful, smart, and you will learn from thier classes. good luck!

this guy may be great in the classes he teaches however in his labs he is terrible. expect him to read his book and not help out. he is sarcastic when you interupt his reading so be prepared. I got 93.5% in his class and got an A-? he does not give A's. I mean come on. if you want the A then avoid. slackers should take him because he is one inclass

Professor Cloud is the best professor LTU has to offer. He is very clear with examples and is willing to help you. He wants to see his students succeed and is willing to put in the extra effort to help students. Professors like this are few and far between. If you have an oppertunity to take Dr. Cloud you must take him you wont regret it.

Cloud makes you work. It's not easy and he doesn't coddle you by giving you easy problems. But he knows how to teach, maybe better than anyone else in the ECE dept. And he tries very hard; his lecture notes, which are 10x better than the text, prove it. They could be published as a textbook themselves. Take him if you're willing to try.

Comment:

Great Electrical Engineering Instructor. Lectures are clear and concise. Coursework is heavily based of the notes and examples. Has unusual grading scale but one of the fairest I seen. I would recommend him for many other classes, if you want to learn as well as get a good grade.
