The class is very long & he presents the majority of the time. He does have a thick accent & it can be hard to understand. The class is very easy tho. He gives map quizzes w/ review & the other quizzes are take home. The projects are with groups and you only have one essay. He is very nice and understanding

He is from Africa, he has a very thick accent and it is very hard to understand him. The lectures are very long and boring- try 3 hours and 30 min. After reading slides from ppts he asks if anyone has questions and will get mad if you do so. He is not a good teacher, I wish I could have dropped his class.

His accent is difficult to understand at times but it makes you more likely to pay attention if you want to know what he is saying. His powerpoints are kind of long but class got out early sometimes. Final was open book. Doesn't respond to emails super quick but will help if you ask. He really knows his stuff and has cool things to share.

Accent is a little difficult to understand but you get used to it. A lot of group work with Powerpoint projects (gets old after a while, to be honest) and a 4-5 page paper. Was an easy class though.

I got all A's on the map quizzes and take home tests... I only got a D on the paper that I spend 6 hours writing... and he gave me a d in the class... it is very hard to understand him and he reads from a power point... very very boring!

I enjoyed his class. He was very friendly and approachable. I liked him. I really didn't like all of the group projects and presentations though. He does give a term paper in his Geography 1 class. The topic of the paper was assigned by him and it was boring. He should let us selet our own toics.
