Spends too much time going over things that are irrelevant to both tests and projects. He tends to contradict himself with what he requires sometimes. I think he's getting old and just forgets what he said goes. For the most part, get ready to teach yourself.

Terrible teacher! If you want to avoid ruining your GPA avoid! I took an intro to programming class and he just expects you to understand and follow what he does on the computer. I literally got a 0% on a test. Sat there for 50 minutes trying to figure it out but couldn't because we never learned those types of problems.

Probably worst professor in college. Im talking all colleges. HAs no idea what he's talking about expects us to know everything about programming when its an intro class. DO NOT TAKE HIM AVOID. I wish i would have never ran into him. He has a smart mouth to your questions. In office hours he's no help either.

Among all of the professors I have had, he is the absolute worst. I had a 4.0 as a senior up until his class. Went ot his office hours. got tutoring. Not enough. It seems like he wants students to fail. He is not able to teach on a entry level. The labs and projects were far above an Intro to Programming and Info systems level.

For the annoying of work placed into the class 19labs(2hrs per), 3 projects (2-3hrs per), and 3 tests one being a cumulative final I barely pulled a C. He is super harsh about grading. The level 300 courses I take are not nearly as hard or require as much effort. Do not take this if you value your GPA.

Surely among the 2 or 3 worse profs at SRU. No academic credentials, no talent for teaching, no interest in students. Thinks he's hip, witty and current in the field. He's none of the above. The labs take forever and are pointless. You end up deleting half of the stufihas you do. The tests are super long. You have to ask him what your grade is because he doesnt have an online account. Save your gpa and take another professor.

This man is a horrible professor. He fills the board with information the entire class and leaves you to teach yourself. He isn't helpful at all and has no sympathy for misunderstanding. DON'T TAKE HIS CLASSES UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOWER YOUR GPA. You will thank me.

Test are very hard for a 100 level intro course. The labs are useless and take a long time to complete. He doesn't help with any of your questions. He keeps your grade on a spreadsheet so you have no idea what you have in the class. Take someone else if you need this class.

This class is not for lazy people. Just read the book and you will be fine. The labs are incredibly easy and so far the projects are simple. The tests are a little difficult but seriously, read and take notes. Dr. Conlon is a nice guy who knows what he's talking about and is generally very helpful.

The class in general is easy, he just makes the tests way harder than they should be. By passing the lab's and averaging C's on the test it is possible to receive an 'A' with the curve. I do not recommend taking him if you have a learning disability. He's not understanding and sometimes a bit rude.
