Most of his students complain about him and his class. I really enjoyed taking his class. For calculus it was pretty easy. He would lecture and give examples and go over homework in class and assign a decent amount of homework, if you didn't do it then you were probably behind. Would definitely take him again if I were still at that campus.

Terrible professor!! Avoid at all costs unless you are highly skilled in calculus (or a genius) and can figure things out for yourself. I went to a tutor countless times and still got C's or failed his tests. His classes waste your time because all he does is boast about his phd and gets side tracked on other things. Worst professor I've ever had!!

I had him for 141 and 220 and his lectures are mostly theory and gives a lot of homework but if you have a question go to him he will help you,the review sheets are mock tests if you do them and understand you should be fine, exams were straight forward in my opinion, but watch out bc he does serve up killer finals, overall I would take him

Calculus is calculus: A professor can only go so far. You have to read the book, attend class, and due the optional (but extremely helpful) assignments to succeed. Ecker is a math enthusiast and will help anyone out if they don't get something. He always encourages asking questions and supplies a study sheet which is essentially the test.

This guy is a total loser. He has little big man syndrome and uses his knowledge against his students to make up for what he lacked in life...( a life). he says he cares but he really dont. he just wants to retire soon but he wont. He has a disclaimer on his syllabus that says he cant be held accountable for his actions and words. I now no y.

I heard Ecker used to be really bad in the past but after he got bashed by the SRTEs, he changed for the better. Funny man and he cares about his students nowadays. He goes over material for the test and you can go to him anytime after class. Recommended because you will learn a thing or two in his course.

Absolutley worthless. Cares more about notation then actual math. Calls students stupid. Very weak written on every test problem. Very few students actually pass his course. One of the most egotistical people I have ever met. Cares more about raquetball then students. All in all avoid this man at all cost!!!!!

I really enjoy his teaching. He gives notes and examples in class that clearly define the topics on the exams. Review sheets are practically an advance copy of the exams. He expects you to do the work as you should. He is very generous on exams as he will only take off partial credit on many problems that other teachers would have marked wrong.

Fun teacher, makes the class easy by giving examples and explaining them better than anybody else I have ever had. Very fun, his offensiveness is his character and he is very funny (he's funny to look at too). Gives review sheets that are practically the tests themselves. Very fun, very interesting person. One of my favorite teachers.
