Dr. Ferenak is incredible. His explanations of all topics are thorough, but you have to do some of the homework (which isnt graded) to fully grasp the material. He moves quickly and writes small on the board, so sit up front, pay close attention, and you will learn a lot. People who failed with other professors seemed to excel with Dr. Ferencak.

Calc 2 was supposed to be the hardest out of all the calc series. I thought it was the easiest. He gives the homework out but doesn't collect it. I never did any of it, just went to class and took good notes. And I walked out with a C+. For the final just make sure to have a good note card.

He's an outstanding professor! Calc 2 is notorious for being a hard class, and I tend to crumble under pressure, but he got me through the class with an actual understanding of the material. He sometimes will use technical mathematics terms, but don't let that scare you. He brings it back down to earth and you'll get used to it. Highly recommend!

One of the best professors I've had. Great at explaining things, will use class time to go over any questions/problems students need help on, and goes at a very manageable pace. Quizzes are take-home, but challenging sometimes. Tests and grading are very fair. If you do the quizzes, homework, practice/study, and ask questions, you will do fine.

Best math professorteacher I've ever had. I attended class and did the homework and easily got all A's, though I know many other students struggle to pass. That's their own fault and not his. His lectures were great. He knows his stuff and presents it the best way possible. I highly recommend taking him for every math class you can.

Awesome professor, truly. I had horrid calculus teachers in high school and after taking his class I feel like I truly understand what I'm doing. Tests are fair, and lectures are very clear.

My favorite professor. He's challenging, but he is a nice guy and does a good job explaining the material. Sometimes he strays from the book to explain things easier, and you can tell he is passionate about what he teaches. His tests are pretty easy if you do your work, and the homework he assigns helps you learn the material & boost your grade.

I had him for Calc II and III and he was a pretty good professor. He presented the material well by giving theory and example. He was always available for you to ask questions during class and office hours. I would recommend taking him because you learn the material well

Worst teacher I have ever had. Got A's in all my other classes, a D in this class. Stands in front of what he has just written on the board, so explanations are useless and hard to understand. Makes tests incredible hard. Brilliant at math, but has no teaching skills. Would recommend never taking a class from this guy.

Great professor. Material can be confusing at times but the prof is willing to take the time and actually teach the material to you so you understand it. Take home quizes are sort of tricky but are benefitial for the exams. Definitely take this guy if you have the chance...you will actually learn some stuff!
