He's a nice guy. He seems like he'd be a stereotypical professor. Maybe borderline argumentative if he doesn't like a student, but he really likes people to participate. He's probably a snob.

This was an interesting class, I definitely learned a lot. He covered many different topics and I really enjoyed this course. I enjoyed him as a professor, however, with grading papers, he is EXTREMELY picky about grammar.

Comment:
A brilliant Historian and researcher, but extremely demanding and arrogant in viewpoints and interpretation of ideas. Disagree with him, and you will get no higher than a "C" no matter how hard you try. Several 5-10 page papers demanded for an INTRO course! Good for advanced courses more than intro. But be prepared to work very hard!

I don't know about him being a really harsh grader or any of that, he was quite fair in the class i had him for. He's impartial, looking at if you back up your ideas, not if they're his or not. A very Knowledgeable, Great Teacher.
