- Lectures are worth it! his powerpoints are complicated or bare, even though they look simple, but in class he explains things so easily and you understand it. - He marks hard! The worst part is he uses letter grades, so the marking is very ambiguous, especially since I am a bio major so I need numbers and percents to make sense of it.

Cares about students. Provides study guides. Show up to class, listen, and take notes if you want to pass; not that hard. Classes are interesting, humorous, and knowledgeable. Confused about something? His office hours are there and he's extremely helpful. Taken multiple courses, passed with an A. If you show up and pay attention, you'll pass.

Honestly, Michael is one of the best profs I've had at MRU, speaking as a senior. You NEED to make sure you do the readings (I'm serious) and are careful in your papers, but he is humorous and kind. He grades with a letter scale, so no percentages. Show that you know the material, and you'll do well. Get ready for field trips!

Michael knows his stuff - so go to class and take notes (you won't get much from the powerpoints, and listening to him is easier than reading the textbook)! Assignments are straight forward, but talk to him about his expectations. Understanding, and a very approachable prof!

Michael is a really dedicated professor who truly cares about the subject matter he covers in class. This was the first time RELS1104 was offered, and as a trial run, it went pretty well. The topics are spread out and can be hard to follow, but as a prof Michael does a great job of getting the class involved. The topics covered can be interested!

Michael is an extremely interesting professor who teaches the material in a deep, casual, and conversational manner. The text book was not necessary because he gives so much information. Also, there was no final exam! We got the go to a Hindu temple and write a paper about it instead. Take his classes and make sure you attend them!

Mr. Hawley has become one of my favorite teachers of all time! He turns the curriculum into a story for every class, making sure everyone understands before moving on. He makes things quite clear and simple for someone who is paying attention and taking notes. Not too much participation necessary which I appreciate!

Michael is a great prof. His lectures were awsome and he was willing to help a student in any way he can. I was actually a little relectuant about the course at first because I thought the material was going to be really boring. However, Michael really made it fun and intresting.

I choose Michael as my prof because he had such positive ratings. Never have I made such a big mistake. Michael's classes were both boring and confusing. He does not write anything on the board, he talks in class and then asks the most SPECIFIC questions on tests. Don't take this class with Michael! As well, he paces the room; kind of odd...

History of South Asia - took it in a first run course and it was absolutely amazing. This really sparked a deeper interested in History and the eastern world itself. This is the type of professor who challenges you and you become thankful for it. Best prof I have had in my scholastic career,
